Peace Dollars – VG (very good) – 1,000 coins
Our best value in bulk silver Peace Dollars.
Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the Peace Dollar was issued in 1921 to commemorate the peace following World War I. The obverse depicts a left facing profile of Liberty, the word LIBERTY around the rim above her radiating crown, IN GOD WE TRUST horizontally and the date at the bottom. The reverse features a perched American bald eagle with an olive branch in its talons, the word PEACE below its perch; above its head UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM and ONE DOLLAR horizontally across the coin just below the eagle’s body.
I carry a 1925 Peace in the coin pocket of my jeans every day. True story.
