RCM (Royal Canadian Mint) 2018 Maple Leaf – sealed Monster Box – five hundred (500) one troy ounce coins
The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf was first introduced in 1988. Issued annually by the RCM (Royal Canadian Mint), and backed as a sovereign coin of the Canadian government, the Silver Maple is acknowledged as one of the most beautiful, and recognizable, silver coins in the world. At 99.99% fineness, with one troy ounce silver content, the Canadian Silver Maple ranks among the finest official bullion coins in the world. The Silver Maple is legal tender in Canada with a nominal face value of $5 Canadian dollars.
Since its inception, the Silver Maple has featured an obverse with a profile of Queen Elizabeth II, and a reverse image depicting the Maple Leaf and the words CANADA, FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR and, on either side of the Maple Leaf, four 9s appear, denoting the purity of the silver. Maples are packaged in semi-transparent tubes with a yellow lid bearing the RCM logo. Each RCM tube contains twenty five (25) one ounce coins. In 2014, new security features were introduced, including a micro-engraved laser mark and a light diffracting pattern of radial lines. These anti-counterfeiting measures make the coins significantly harder to duplicate while also enhancing their beauty.
The Silver Maple is eligible for your precious metal IRA.
