Happy Friday!
In our last newsletter, gold had finally broken the $1,300 barrier. Two weeks later, it has not only maintained that level, but it has crept up to $1,315. On the silver front, the spot price, which got down to $13.97 less than three months ago, is poised to crack $16, achieving a 14% gain in less than a quarter. Impressive!
Palladium is now 66% above its mid-summer trading level.
We are always buying, selling and trading. We’ve also been watching intently as our senior partner has gone all in on a new, private auction platform. He keeps talking about how great it’s going so I thought I’d try to get my feet wet. If you have anything to consign (coins, bullion, currency, even high end baseball cards, music memorabilia, jewelry etc.), we’re making this offer to our first 50 consignors:  we will cut our commission to only 5% (vs. the 10-15% hammer fee that most auctioneers charge). And – we won’t charge you for shipping to the buyer or ding you for credit card fees to process the payment.ZERO EXTRA FEES! Just 5% off the top. Please call or email for details (yes, you can set a reserve!).
This week’s featured rare coins include a few highly graded and very “low pop” coins – a 1953 Proof Quarter in PF68, a 1859 Seated Dime in MS67, a stunning 1853 Gold Dollar in MS67 and a perfect MS70 2015-W High Relief.  As always, all have exceptional eye appeal and are well below price guide.
This week’s closing spot prices per Kitco :
Gold: $1,315
Silver: $15.91
Platinum: $803
Palladium $1,411 (up 66% since August 15).
Thanks so much for reading. We appreciate you!
Please keep in mind that we go through hundreds and hundreds of rare coins every week to find the four fresh beauties we feature. To qualify for our newsletter, all must be well below price guide and have sensational eye appeal (or a good story about why they’re so ugly). All of this is to say that we have many more great coins that we don’t have room to feature here. Anything else in particular that we can show you?
First up this week is a newer coin – a perfect 2015-W Gold High Relief.
This flawless coin has been certified by PCGS as being delivered from the US Mint on the FIRST DAY of ISSUE.

2015-W GOLD HIGH RELIEF – PCGS certified MS70
Beautiful design. Certified perfect. Contains one full ounce of 999.9 fine USA gold.
PCGS price guide is $6,000
Your price is only $2,999 – HALF of PRICE GUIDE!
Exact coin pictured. First come, first served.
1859 SEATED LIBERTY DIME – NGC certified MS67

That is a WHITE coin. Not sure why it hasn’t graded higher than MS67, but, then again, only one 1859 Seated Dime ever has been graded higher by NGC (and it’s $23,500!)
NGC census  on the MS67  is very scant 13.
Price guide is  $7,350
Your price is only $4,950 – $2,400 below price guide (obo!)
Exact coin pictured. First come, first served
1953 PROOF QUARTER – PCGS certified PR68 DCAM
My partners have requested that I only use “clean” language in these newsletters, so I can’t repeat what came out of my mouth when I saw this gem. What I can say is that this is the nicest proof quarter I’ve ever seen.

This Deep Cameo (DCAM) Washington Quarter is the highest known grade, with PCGS certifying only sixteen 1953 proof quarters as PR68.
Price guide is  $8,000  and rising
Your price is… HALF! (only $3,999)
Exact coin pictured. First come, first served
1853 GOLD DOLLAR – NGC certified MS67

And super beautiful!
NGC census is only 21, with only 2 ever graded higher
NGC price guide is  $24,000
Your price: only $15,999 (EIGHT GRAND BELOW PRICE GUIDE!)
Exact coin pictured. First come, first served
As I type, we’ve just acquired a perfect PROOF 70 2001 Platinum Eagle (one oz., $100 face value). 2001 is the 3rd rarest date, so it is very unusual for us (or anyone else for that matter) to have a 2001 one oz. PF 70 Ultra Cameo in hand.
2001 $100 PLATINUM EAGLE – NGC certified PF70 ULTRA CAMEO
Price guide is a rock steady $3,500  (unchanged for years)
I’ve checked our leading competitors. They don’t have a 2001 for sale. I checked eBay – no recent sales (but they do have a few listed for an average price of $3,055).
Your price: only $2,459

In addition to our market leading prices on 90% “junk” silver, we also carry a massive stock of silver dollars. We recently uncovered a mountain of shiny 1921 Morgan Dollars that have become the #1 hot seller at our retail location in WA. All we have to do is show people a roll of these 1921 Morgans and they just seem to sell themselves.
Twenty coins per roll: only $539 per roll.
Buy three or more and get FREE SHIPPING (otherwise, please add $7.95).

Just made a nice deal on a few $1,000 face bags of Walking Liberty Half Dollars (Walkers). We’re selling below our website prices until they’re gone:

Hard to believe how cheap Platinum has become. One of the results of the low, low prices is that it has become almost impossible to keep platinum in stock.
Today, we were able to lock in 50 x 2019 one oz. British Platinum Britannias. As you can see, they are really pretty!
5-9 oz: only spot +74.99 ($877.99 each)
10-19 oz: only spot +69.99 ($872.99 each)
20+: only spot +64.99 ($867.99 each)
Offer good until we’ve sold the 50 coins.
Each coin contains one oz of 999.5 fine Platinum.
Face value is £100.
