Happy Friday!

Hope this finds you well 🙂

Special thank you to all the folks we chatted with this week; some very interesting conversations about palladium, platinum, private auctions…
And plenty of non-coin related matters too. LOL! Wish I’d had more time to discuss baseball, tomatoes and horses (and the weather – it hit 80 for a minute here this week!).
Our clients are awesome!
Speaking of private auctions, one of our consignors (of high end, rare modern Gold Eagles) is in a hurry – can’t wait for the mid-April auction, so we’re going to offer a few of his coins here.
 Certified classic coin specials:
The amazing response to last week’s New Orleans mint Barber quarter got me thinking about O-mint Barbers. I’ve scoured the market this week to come up with another couple of beauties, a 1893-O Barber half dollar and a 1901-O Barber dime. Beautiful, white coins (and definitely priced to sell!). We’re also very excited to offer you a lovely, sparkly, 1900 $2.50 Gold Liberty and a super rare 1893-S $10 Liberty (looks amazing too!)

This week we have a tempting new silver item, just offered to us:  a 5 oz silver Aztec Calendar round. Nice!

We also stumbled across a popular TV seller offering a very cool silver coin for $99.
I said, “Wait a second. Don’t I have a box of those stuck away? Sure enough, I did – and I’ll give you some of them for half that price!
JUST IN: file under: what the heck?!
Remember those Apollo 11 five oz silver proofs that the Mint sold a couple of months back? The ones that sold out in 8 minutes? Well, during those eight minutes, an order I was personally trying to place got booted when the Mint’s ordering system froze. Boy, was I mad!  Guess what? Last week (two months down the road), the Mint send me an email that said, “Your order has shipped”.
Huh? What order?
The coins just showed up!
We have 5 to sell below market.

Thanks for reading! We sincerely appreciate it. Have a great weekend!
Yeah, I admit it. I occasionally watch late night coin infomercials 🙂
I saw this segment with  2015 Silver Eagles, certified by NGC as MS70 1st Day of Issue. They were selling them for $99.
I remembered that, back in 2015, I had put up a box of 20 that were perfect,  with pristine holders and  coins with  no spots . And while $99 seems not unreasonable, half of that seems much more attractive! Wouldn’t you agree?

US Mint offered these for sale on  January 24.  They sold out in 8 minutes.
Since then, there has been a very robust secondary market. The thing is, almost all of the ones for sale have been graded and are way overpriced (IMHO).

Original ones, in US Mint boxes with COA have gotten pretty hard to find. A***X is getting $329.00 for them (link available on request).

We have five available (still in the sealed US Mint package) for:
only $279 each

First come, first served!
