Washington 90% Silver Quarters – $100 face: 35.75 oz silver content
Washington quarters, commemorating the bicentennial of George Washington’s birth, have been in continual circulation since 1932. Coins from 1964 and earlier are made of an alloy of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse of this classic American coin has recently been repurposed for the 5 ounce America the Beautiful bullion series.
Coins offered here are in “average circulated” condition and are expected to conform to the industry standard of 71.5 troy ounces of silver per $100 in face value (.3575 oz per coin).
