Roosevelt Dimes – $100 face (1,000 dimes): 71.5 oz silver content;
Roosevelt Dimes have been minted continuously since 1946. Until 1964, the coins had a 90% silver content.
Designed by John Sinnock, the obverse depicts a left facing bust of FDR, the words LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the date, mint mark and Sinnock’s initials. The reverse features an olive branch, a torch, an olive branch and the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UUM and ONE DIME.
The Roosies” offered here are in “average circulated” condition and are expected to conform to the industry standard of 71.5 troy ounces of silver per $100 in face value (0.0715 oz per coin).
